Volleyball Game Preview: Alameda Hornets vs. Piedmont Highlanders

The Alameda Hornets will venture away from home to take on the Piedmont Highlanders at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Alameda and 14 for Piedmont.

Alameda lost 3-0 to Bishop O'Dowd on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Piedmont came up short against San Leandro on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-14.

Alameda's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Piedmont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.

Everything went Alameda's way against Piedmont in their previous matchup back in March, as Alameda made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
