Soccer Recap: A.L. Brown Victorious

After failing to score in their last contest, A.L. Brown made sure to put some goals up on the board against Thomasville on Friday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for A.L. Brown's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Thomasville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jocelyn Salazar (2), Haleigh Laughlin, Aiko Penaloza, and Meleny Ballesteros.

A.L. Brown's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Thomasville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, A.L. Brown will be playing at home against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Norman will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something A.L. Brown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thomasville, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against South Davidson on the 24th.
