Baseball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

The Turner Falcons came up short against the Lexington Bulldogs on Friday, falling 13-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lexington, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-15.

Looking ahead, Turner will head out on the road to face off against Thackerville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lexington, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-3 victory against Ringling on the 12th.
