Volleyball Recap: Poudre Comes Up Short

Poudre lost against Northfield back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Impalas fell just short of the Nighthawks by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Poudre sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 24-26, 15-11.

Poudre has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Northfield, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Poudre will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Littleton at 1:00 p.m. As for Northfield, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Fruita Monument at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
