Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Warriors vs. Calvary Christian Cougar
The New Life Christian Academy Warriors's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 78-74 W over Calvary Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ty'lik Taylor was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Cameron Parker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.
New Life Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Calvary Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-10.
New Life Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. Raleigh Christian Academy is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. Calvary Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Conquerors at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
