Basketball Game Preview: Constantine Falcons vs. Kalamazoo Christian Comets

Constantine is 1-9 against Kalamazoo Christian since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Constantine Falcons will face off against the Kalamazoo Christian Comets at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Constantine is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since March 4, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged White Pigeon out 34-31.

Meanwhile, Kalamazoo Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Pumas as they made off with a 51-30 win. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Kalamazoo Christian's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for Constantine, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Constantine was dealt a bruising 63-22 defeat at the hands of Kalamazoo Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Constantine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
