Volleyball Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Takes a Loss

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the North Cross Raiders.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy still got an impressive performance from Jossy Byars, who had seven digs and four aces.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for North Cross, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will head out to face off against Nansemond River at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Cross, they will welcome Virginia Episcopal School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
