The North Cobb Christian Eagles will challenge the Rockmart Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in North Cobb Christian's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Rockmart has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, North Cobb Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Murray County 95-48. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

North Cobb Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brock Bass Bonner, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 23 points. Jordan Wiseman was another key player, going 7 of 8 en route to 16 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Rockmart had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Coahulla Creek 62-59. The win was all the more spectacular given the Yellowjackets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Colts are ranked 148th).

North Cobb Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Rockmart, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-13.
