Softball Preview: South Harrison Hawks vs. Webster County Highlanders
The South Harrison Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Webster County Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Harrison will be strutting in after a win while Webster County will be coming in after a loss.
South Harrison never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Valley on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Lumberjacks. The result was nothing new for South Harrison, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Ava Louk was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Louk was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

South Harrison now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Webster County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
South Harrison came out on top in a nail-biter against Webster County in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 9-7. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Webster County's Darryn Loughridge, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
