Baseball Recap: Overlake Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Overlake posted their closest win since March 24th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the South Whidbey Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Overlake's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Whidbey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Overlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Whidbey, they will square off against Granite Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
