Baseball Recap: Crystal City Wins Going Away Against Metro

While Crystal City's win against Metro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Hornets' most dominant win of the season.

Riley Hendrickson was excellent, earning one RBI, one run, and three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian McGinnis, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

The victory snapped Crystal City's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-13 record. As for Metro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Crystal City nor Metro have any future games scheduled.
