Basketball Recap: Nichols Takes a Loss

Nichols and St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Nichols had to settle for second. They took a 68-51 bruising from the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now lost four in a row.

Nichols' defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Nichols does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they will challenge Canisius at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
