Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Tigers vs. Western Reserve Blue Devils

The Springfield Tigers will head out to square off against the Western Reserve Blue Devils at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Springfield is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Springfield beat McDonald 42-35. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly seven points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Western Reserve, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past Jackson-Milton 60-34 on Thursday. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Springfield pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Western Reserve, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Springfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Western Reserve in their previous matchup last Monday, sneaking past 43-41.
