Volleyball Recap: Holdrege Takes a Loss

Holdrege was the 2-0 winner over Gothenburg when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dusters fell just short of the Swedes by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Dusters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Holdrege lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 30-28, 23-25, 25-22, 16-14.

Holdrege's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Gothenburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Holdrege will challenge Minden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gothenburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
