If Lake Station Edison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Andrean, they should've done a better job of containing Lailoni Staten. The Fighting 59ers took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 56-20 victory over the Fighting Eagles with plenty of help from Staten, who shot 89% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Andrean is 2-1 when Staten posts 15 or more points, but 5-10 otherwise.

Andrean's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Lake Station Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Andrean wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-25 loss against Kankakee Valley on the 22nd. As for Lake Station Edison, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
