Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln and Washington squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lincoln had to settle for second. They came up short against the Washington Eagles, falling 4-0. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Washington have any future games scheduled.
