Basketball Recap: Oxnard Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Oxnard posted their closest win since January 5, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Palisades Dolphins 66-64. The victory was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets who have now won three matchups in a row.

Oxnard is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Palisades, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-6 record.

Oxnard will be playing at home against Simi Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oxnard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Simi Valley likes a good challenge. As for Palisades, they will take on Bakersfield Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bakersfield Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Palisades surely won't give up without a fight.
