Baseball Recap: Damonte Ranch Takes a Loss

Damonte Ranch suffered their closest defeat since April 20, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Spanish Springs Cougars by a score of 6-4. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Topher Shirley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Damonte Ranch's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Spanish Springs, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
