Basketball Game Preview: Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls vs. Crockett Bulldogs

Anderson-Shiro hasn't had much luck against Crockett recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls will challenge the Crockett Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Anderson-Shiro is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Trinity on Tuesday. Anderson-Shiro fell to Trinity 58-53. While the Fighting Owls didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 14-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Crockett was beaten by Onalaska 96-69 on Tuesday.

Crockett's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-7. As for Anderson-Shiro, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.

Anderson-Shiro was taken down by Crockett 71-36 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Anderson-Shiro avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
