Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Melstone). Everything went their way against Custer/Hysham on Saturday as the Melstone Broncs made off with a 76-55 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Broncs have posted since February 29, 2024.

Melstone's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Custer/Hysham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melstone will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Custer/Hysham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Broadview/Lavina at 6:30 p.m.
