Soccer Recap: West Mesa Comes Up Short

After flying high against Del Norte on Tuesday, West Mesa came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Highland Hornets on Wednesday, falling 6-0. West Mesa have struggled against Highland recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

West Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

West Mesa will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cibola at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Highland, they are taking a road trip to take on Del Norte at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
