Softball Game Preview: John Marshall Justices vs. Prince Edward County Eagles

The John Marshall Justices will face off against the Prince Edward County Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

John Marshall is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hermitage just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 22-4.

Prince Edward County couldn't beat Nottoway on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles lost 16-6 to the Cougars.

Da'Nya Booker led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Kayla Killebrew was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Prince Edward County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for John Marshall, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
