Shelton played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They had just enough and edged out the Black Hills Wolves 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Shelton as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Shelton's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Black Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-2 record this season.
