Basketball Recap: Colome Comes Up Short

Colome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers and fell 74-18. The Cowboys lost against the Black Panthers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 69-48 score last time.

Colome's record is now 0-12. As for Platte/Geddes, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.

Colome has already played their next contest (against Takini), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Platte/Geddes will challenge Beresford at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Platte/Geddes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
