Football Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont fell victim to Somerville and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Highlanders and fell 41-0. The Marauders just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Somerville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belmont will venture away from home to square off against Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerville, they will take on Malden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Highlanders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
