Soccer Game Preview: Natomas vs. Lathrop

The Natomas Nighthawks will venture away from home to square off against the Lathrop Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Natomas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Ripon. Winning may never get old, but Natomas sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lathrop). They never let Beyer get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lathrop needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Natomas' victory bumped their record up to 12-7-3. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 18-5-2.
