There's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Milpitas Trojans on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in April.

Allison Marcelino spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.

At the plate, Raven Rasmussen-Dailey was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Kim, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Milpitas, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.
