After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Owasso, Life Prep was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the Brush Beetdiggers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Life Prep also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Kolby Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Jose Zorrilla was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Andy Comas, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, a run, and a double.

On Brush's side, Edgar Ortiz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI, a stolen base, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Mettlen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
