Softball Recap: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Morrisville Bulldogs

Renaissance Academy entered their tilt with Morrisville with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Everything went their way against the Morrisville Bulldogs on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Renaissance Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

SOPHIA INGERSOLL made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. INGERSOLL has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. INGERSOLL was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple.

In other batting news, Renaissance Academy got a massive performance out of SAMANTHA REYNOLDS, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. REYNOLDS has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
