Soccer Game Preview: Christian Life vs. Westminster Christian

Christian Life hasn't had much luck against Westminster Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Christian Life has given up an average of 7.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Christian Life is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Harvest Christian Academy, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Christian Life can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Harvest Christian Academy are ranked 123rd).

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Royals get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering Westminster Christian have won five matchups by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Rosary from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Caroline DiNapoli led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Westminster Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those three contests. As for Christian Life, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
