Volleyball Recap: Wheat Ridge Takes a Loss

Wheat Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pomona Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 11-25, 25-19.

Wheat Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Pomona, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wheat Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pomona will square off against rival Littleton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
