It's playoff time, and Berean Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a set and slipped past the Alhambra Bulldogs 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-103) Berean Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 15-10.

Berean Christian pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Alhambra, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Berean Christian will challenge Benicia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Alhambra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
