Recap: Bowlegs Bison vs. Maysville Warriors
The Bowlegs Bison lost against the Maysville Warriors back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bowlegs fell 22-12 to Maysville. Bowlegs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Bowlegs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Colton Sullivan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
Bowlegs has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Maysville, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4.
Bowlegs will take on Maud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Maud is ranked 57th, while Bowlegs is ranked 69th). As for Maysville, they will head out on the road to face off against Paoli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paoli will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
