Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westfield). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 73-17 victory over the Brocton Bulldogs. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Westfield was led to victory by Naomi Ottey and Mackenzie Schumaker. Ottey went 6-for-12 on her way to 16 points and five rebounds, while Schumaker went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points. Those 16 points gave Ottey a new career-high. Reagan Weingart was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Westfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Westfield pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points over those games. As for Brocton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Westfield has already played their next matchup, a 43-24 loss against Panama on the 6th. As for Brocton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-28 defeat against Chautauqua Lake on the 6th.
