Basketball Recap: Boaz's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After losing to Moody the last time they met, Boaz decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Boaz Pirates came out on top against the Moody Blue Devils by a score of 42-30 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Boaz's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Moody, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Boaz wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-48 defeat against New Hope on the 28th. As for Moody, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-48 win against Fairview on the 28th.
