Volleyball Recap: Crested Butte Takes a Loss

Crested Butte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Custer County Bobcats. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Crested Butte ultimately came up short, they really made Custer County work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 27-25.

Crested Butte's record now sits at 8-8. As for Custer County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Crested Butte will head out to face off against Del Norte at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Custer County, they will challenge Calhan at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th.
