Portsmouth benefitted from Berry in 72-66 win
Deandre Berry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Portsmouth to the win on Tuesday. Berry made a splash, dropping a double-double on 40 points and 14 rebounds. It looks like he has Rock Hill's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Berry has scored all season.
Berry and Portsmouth will be playing in front of their home fans against Gallia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth got just the result they wanted when they last faced Gallia Academy, probably because Berry had a great game then too: he scored 31 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
