Micah McMannus was a major factor in Beverly's victory over Peabody Veterans Memorial on Saturday. McMannus didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
