They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Meridian Hawks. The three-run effort marked the Storm's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Sangamon Valley/Tri-City's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Meridian, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-2 record.
