Basketball Recap: Harpeth Extends Winning Streak to Three

Harpeth had won two straight games and Cj Turner did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Harpeth Indians slipped by the Houston County Fighting Irish 46-45 thanks in part to Turner, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January.

The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Johnston, who posted four points and six steals. Johnston is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Harpeth's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Houston County, they moved to 4-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harpeth will host Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Houston County will take on Camden Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
