Football Game Preview: Shelton Highclimbers vs. Evergreen Plainsmen + How To Watch

The Shelton Highclimbers will challenge the Evergreen Plainsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shelton is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Shelton came up short against Heritage and fell 14-6.

Meanwhile, Evergreen also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Kelso by a score of 35-22.

Shelton will have to keep a close watch on Terrance Saryon and Jayden Baum, a pair of players who had a big impact on Evergreen's prior game. Saryon gained 205 total yards, while Baum threw for 350 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. With that strong performance, Saryon is now averaging an impressive 104.3 receiving yards per game.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Evergreen, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Shelton took a serious blow against Evergreen when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 39-5. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Highclimbers were down 26-2.
