Basketball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Midlakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Newark Reds, falling 70-29. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Screaming Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-36 back in December of 2024.

Midlakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Newark, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Midlakes will take on Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newark, they will square off against Penn Yan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
