Softball Recap: Lamphere Rams vs. Hazel Park Vikings
Lamphere extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-10. They lost 21-9 to the Hazel Park Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.
As for Hazel Park, their win bumped their record up to 5-10. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
For Hazel Park's part, they got a massive performance out of Camilla Polanco (2028), who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The Marauders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hazel Park, they will take on Port Huron at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Big Reds have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
