After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marysville, Wamego was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-30 victory over the Chapman Irish. The win continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won three in a row.

Wamego picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-15. As for Chapman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Wamego and Chapman could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings.
