Softball Recap: Sequoia Comes Up Short

Sequoia lost to Woodside back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ravens came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-1. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nisha Mehta was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Woodside, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sequoia will venture away from home to challenge Menlo-Atherton at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Ravens will need to watch out since the M-A BEARS have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Woodside, they will head out on the road to square off against San Mateo at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
