Centennial won the last time they faced Hillsboro and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Hillsboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centennial is set to challenge their familiar foe Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hillsboro will face off against rival Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
