Volleyball Recap: Strathmore Victorious

Strathmore picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Wasco Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Strathmore easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Hannah Jones paced Strathmore's offense, picking up six kills. Jones got some help from Pearl Johnson and her 15 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Strathmore's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Wasco, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Strathmore has already played their next matchup (against Tehachapi), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wasco, they will square off against McFarland at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
