Baseball Recap: Gettysburg Takes a Loss

Gettysburg might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was Palmyra who claimed the real prize. The Warriors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 8-2. As for Palmyra, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Gettysburg wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Lower Dauphin on the 14th. As for Palmyra, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Red Land on the 14th.
