Basketball Game Preview: Moses Lake Mavericks vs. Eisenhower Cadets

The Moses Lake Mavericks will take on the Eisenhower Cadets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moses Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Eisenhower likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Moses Lake made easy work of Eastmont and carried off an 81-55 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Eisenhower hadn't done well against Sunnyside recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Eisenhower walked away with a 66-58 win over Sunnyside. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cadets.

Moses Lake's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Eisenhower, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Moses Lake came out on top in a nail-biter against Eisenhower when the teams last played on February 1st, sneaking past 77-75. Will Moses Lake repeat their success, or does Eisenhower have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
