Wilmington lost to Reed-Custer back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats took down the Comets 50-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilmington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brysen Meents, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 24 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Ryan Kettman, who posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Wilmington's record is now 2-0. As for Reed-Custer, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
